The Winter Speaker Series

Over two decades of great gardening advice

Mike’s ‘First Pass’ at Winter Speaker Series. Goals: 1. as Robbie would say, ‘Flatten’ the current Weebly site and 2. Have a page that can reside on the site year-round without being outdated.

Every year between January and March, Snohomish County Master Gardeners sponsor a lecture series featuring celebrity gardeners, authors and subject matter experts on a variety of gardening subjects.

All sessions are held in-person in the beautiful Weyerhauser Room at the Everett Train Station at 3201 Smith Ave, Everett.  There is plenty of parking at this venue.

The 2025 Topics:

Every year, when the days are at their shortest, the weather looks the bleakest, and die-hard gardeners are out shoveling compost in the mud, wondering if the sun will EVER shine again, the Snohomish County Master Gardener Foundation hosts the annual Sustainable Gardening Winter Speaker Series.  This year is the 22nd year we have been offering this lecture series!

The lecture series features eight celebrity gardeners, authors and subject matter experts sharing their knowledge on a variety of gardening subjects.  Whatever the topic, they are always entertaining and educational.  Plus they are SUCH a wonderful break from the winter doldrums!
